Cookie Policy
Last updated: 7 October 2026
This Cookie Policy explains which technologies store or read information on your device when you use the Growing Up website, and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store. Similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage, work in a comparable way. Under the Polish Electronic Communications Law, which implements Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC), they may be used without your consent only where strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for. Everything else requires your prior consent.
2. What this Website uses
The Website itself sets no cookies. It uses no analytics, advertising or social media tracking. Our security provider Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie if it needs to check that a visitor is not a bot. The table below lists everything that can be stored on your device.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Type and duration | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
gu-consent |
This Website | Remembers your privacy choices and when you made them | Local storage, 12 months | Not required (strictly necessary) |
Security cookies set by Cloudflare, for example __cf_bm or cf_clearance |
Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), on our behalf | Protecting the Website against bots and attacks; set only when a visitor needs to be checked | Cookies, usually 30 minutes | Not required (strictly necessary for security) |
Cookies set by Vimeo, for example vuid or __cf_bm |
Vimeo.com, Inc. (USA) | Playing the trailer, player settings, security, and possibly usage statistics | Cookies, as set by Vimeo, from the session up to 2 years | Required (External media) |
Vimeo cookies can only be set after you press play on the trailer and agree. The exact list is controlled by Vimeo and may change. See Vimeo’s Cookie Policy.
3. Managing your consent
- On your first visit, a banner asks for your choice. “Reject all” and “Accept all” are equally available, and nothing optional runs until you decide.
- You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page, or with the button below. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent. If you withdraw it while the trailer is playing, the player is removed straight away.
- We ask again after 12 months, or sooner if the categories of optional services change.
- You can also block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you block Vimeo’s cookies, the trailer may not play.
